The last time Phoenix hosted game 1 of the @NBA Finals, Jude LaCava & I walked off the court after the pregame show & marveled at the thought of it all. In the end, it became the hoops journey of a lifetime, even in defeat. Buckle up @Suns fans & enjoy the ride!
Hobo was one of one. Simply not ready or prepared to say good bye today. My angel, my pal. Always more than a memory. God speed my sweet baby. 20 years and it still wasn’t enough.
Frozen in time. Not “The Last Supper” but the final Coyotes AM skate. After 28 years, being on the outside of an @NHL season looking in, is daunting but also illuminating. I shall miss my friends, the game & the amazing people in & around it. We walk together, forever.
I will effort posting video of Torey Lovullo following tonight’s win here in Chicago. I will let him explain why he went out to embrace Ketel Marte and what he said to him. I will not empower the fan who verbally abused Marte with details of what was said.
