Interim @TexasMBB coach Rodney Terry has been named a finalist for Jim Phelan National Coach of the Year Award. Terry is one of 20 finalists for the award, which is presented annually to the top DI coach. Winner will be announced later this month.

Just got off the phone with Bowie basketball coach Celester Collier, and the coaching giant is hanging up the whistle after four+ decades. Austin's basketball scene will miss the coaching pioneer; 'CC' looking forward to chasing around his 3 granddaughters. Stay tuned for story.
