$600. $11 billion for a border wall. $15 billion for a Space Force. We need a radical revolution of values.

#DidYouKnow In 1954, #BettyWhite was criticized after having Arthur Duncan, a Black tap dancer, on her show. Her response: "I'm sorry. Live with it." She then gave Duncan even more airtime. The show was canceled soon after. Rest well, Betty. #ThankYouForBeingAFriend

No person, no family, no community, no people should be made to suffer such trauma. #TyreNichols

A nonviolent warrior crossing the bridge where he met physical force with soul force. Farewell, #JohnLewis.

1969. A TV Moment That Mattered. In the United States, Black people still could not swim in the same pool as White people. #MrRogers broke a color barrier when he invited Officer Clemmons to cool his feet in the same pool.

A thread of #MLK speeches and sermons in which he speaks truth to power, shares about his philosophy of nonviolence, and expounds on issues of injustice and what our righteous, rigorous response should be. Relevant. Revelatory. Revolutionary. #MLKDay #BelovedCommunity
