This comes after the appointment of - Starmer said - "lackeys and donors" to the Lords by Tory govts.
NEW: Liz Truss's personal phone was hacked by spies suspected of working on behalf of Vladimir Putin, according to the Mail on Sunday.
The hack was discovered in the Summer but details were suppressed by then PM Boris Johnson and Cabinet Secretary Simon Case.
