- People from around the world have been contacting my office about Trooper the Dog. I want everyone to know that in Hillsborough County, you pay the price for animal cruelty. We protect our most vulnerable citizens, and that includes our four-legged friends.
00:00 - We told you if you prey on your neighbors during a state of emergency, you will be held accountable. She also had fentanyl in her possession. Wecal is now facing a possible 30 years in prison instead of 15- all because of enhanced charges during a state of emergency.❗NO BOND ❗ Jennifer Wecal posed as a county worker while she robbed a woman's home in Tampa during #HurricaneMilton. The victim evacuated to safety while Wecal stole a firearm, jewelry, and purses. She now faces 30 years in prison because of enhanced charges.
- .@GovRonDeSantis' decisive action today is the result of another prosecutor who wants to create laws instead of enforcing them. I hope the changes in the 9th circuit will result in the same level of success we have had at restoring the voice of crime victims in our courtrooms.
- Replying to @SuzyLopezSAAn arrest has been made in this case. Trooper’s former owner is going to be facing aggravated animal cruelty charges. We take this crime very seriously and this defendant will face the consequences of his actions.

- Angel Cuz Choc is accused of murdering his girlfriend and her 4 y/o daughter. My office is now seeking the death penalty. This tragedy is made even worse by the fact that the defendant took advantage of our weak borders entering the U.S. illegally. He will be held accountable.
- Our hearts are with our @HCSOSheriff family as they mourn the loss of K9 Officer Brooks. Thank you for your service, Brooks. Rest in peace.
- We will protect our most vulnerable victims. This defendant will remain behind bars without bond until trial, ensuring he cannot hurt anyone else in our community. He will face consequences for his actions.Eliseo Aguilar will be held behind bars without bond until trial after our prosecutors successfully argued he remains a danger to the community. His charges include battery on a victim less than 12, lewd or lascivious molestation, as well as 63 charges of video voyeurism.
