- That's because the Schulz estate still has a strong grip on quality control over the franchise. The Peanuts Movie alone took 7 years to make because the artists on that movie spent 6 of those years in boot camp to learn how to imitate Schulz's art style.Is this the only franchise to not incorporated in any modern humor?
- The Peanuts Movie was basically made as the swan song for Peanuts as a franchise and to celebrate Charles Schulz as a whole. It was the last major project before WildBrain/Sony Music Japan got joint ownership of the franchise, and all the new stuff gets sent to Apple TV+ hell.
