But for me, Shapiro’s performance confirmed why Walz was picked. Shapiro looked and sounded like a politician. Walz sounded like a real person.

Susan Collins says it would be inappropriate for Trump to retaliate against anyone who provided evidence in his impeachment (e.g. Vindman): pressherald.com/2020/02/07/col…

Donald Trump could never give a speech like this. Not in a billion years.

The Chris Wallace interview of Donald Trump (on Fox) is excellent. It really shows who and what our President is. Incoherent. Idiotic. Rambling. Insensitive. Illogical. Ignorant. And worse. Great work by Chris Wallace.

Our dog died. We got her from a respectable breeder. We had her for 23 hours before we had to rush her to an animal hospital. Boy, 2020 really, really sucks.

Check out the divide in the new Monmouth poll between those with a college degree and those without one. Trump wins those with no degree 47-44, while Biden wins those with a degree 63-28. Yikes!

Govs. Ron DeSantis (FL), Greg Abbott (TX) and Doug Ducey (AZ) have shown what happens when ideology and partisanship override public health experts. Just shocking.

Republicans now need to worry about a possible Democratic sweep in November. Flipping the White House and Senate, and holding the House. Plus state legislatures (redistricting). The trend line isn’t great for the GOP.

Trump says this is Democrats’ position on abortion: “If it’s after the 9th month and the baby was born you put the baby aside. You discuss with the mother and if the mother doesn’t want the baby we execute the baby. This is part of their thing.”

Watching Kevin McCarthy “speech,” I’m struck by the fact that he lacks Mitch McConnell’s charisma.

I still find it remarkable that the president can tweet like a lunatic (as he has today) and almost all Republican officeholders are afraid to point that out and dispute his comments.

What Trump said about McCain makes all the other comments believable.

At some point, Dem hopefuls are going to have to say how they will pay for Medicare-for-all and free college. Just a fact folks.
