I think the bdsm aspects of Wonder Woman’s origins are actually very interesting but I don’t trust a single modern writer to handle them well so I’m fine with it being left in the past
This scene always makes me so mad and shows that King doesn’t care about these characters at all because the big thing about Batwoman’s backstory is that she DIDN’T go to war. That’s one of the most important parts of her history
So now they just revealed why Kitty can’t use the gates in an interview instead of the actual comics and said it was never a mystery and fans just read too deep into it. What a fucking disappointment
