- Avatar spent literally most of its story showing how difficult it is to understand and control these vastly different elements for a single person. Korra did it at 4 like it was nothing, she literally skipped everything that made bending unique and it just became superpowers.Unpopular Opinion: Korra having 3/4 elements mastered at the start of season 1 actually was a good story decision and made her unique and different from past avatars
