by moving to zero-copy on an auxiliary data-structure mostly used out-of-band for e.g. billing
Reaching 1 million merchants on Shopify is just bonkers. That’s how many people live here in Ottawa. The only real sense of scale I can get is imagining walking door to door in this city and everyone is a merchant. Mind-boggling.
