Some of my friends from @wizards_magic and beyond sent me this great card from Minneapolis. Really a heartwarming moment knowing so many folks are on my side. Beard's getting a little shaggy, though. Do barbers make house calls?

- In non-Magic news, scan reveals between 17-47% shrinkage in various tumors. Blood work, kidney and liver function all A+, thyroid numbers are good. Chemo tomorrow and then only one more treatment after that. All in all, a positive and hopeful result today.
- Hey everyone. You haven't seen me in a few days and won't likely see me anytime soon, as I've had a very bad reaction to a radiation treatment. I'm currently mostly incapacitated. Thanks in advance for shipping those positive vibes.

- Hey all. You might notice that I’m not on my way to Richmond right now and have been absent on social media. The truth is I almost died last week. I had developed an infection at the sight of my original tumor spot from 5.5 years ago, as it started regrowing 1/5
- Commander's target demographic are players who are willing to take their opponents' enjoyment of the game into account when building/starting/playing games. Please note that this is independent of power level.
- Yesterday's results not good. Current treatment not working, leaving us with one more thing to try before full-blown chemo. Feel physically fine, so no interruption to normal activities for now. More than happy to join you in a chorus of "fuck cancer," though.
- They've admitted me to the hospital with the diagnosis of pneumonia and partially collapsed lung. Looks like I'll be here until the lung refills. Mood is good. Just considering this a side step in the longer journey. Thanks for the well wishes. I'll be back in action soon!
