I was just handed a 479-page tax bill a few hours before the vote. One page literally has hand scribbled policy changes on it that can’t be read. This is Washington, D.C. at its worst. Montanans deserve so much better.

Today, I’m introducing my Corporations Are Not People Amendment—a constitutional amendment to overturn the disastrous Citizens United decision.

Today, I will vote to codify the protections in Roe v. Wade. For nearly 50 years, women have been able to make their own private healthcare decisions without government interference—it should stay that way. #WHPA

It's not the government's job to decide who Montanans can love and marry, end of story. When the Senate votes today on the Respect for Marriage Act, I will proudly vote YES.

Montana has no sales tax and we don’t need the federal government imposing one on us. House Republicans' plan to tack a 30% national sales tax on every good from gas to groceries would skyrocket costs for Montana’s working families. I will defeat this awful plan.

Corporations are not people. Citizens United was a disastrous decision that's allowed dark money to corrode our politics to this day. It's time to pass my constitutional amendment to #EndCitizensUnited and finally bring transparency to our elections.

I’m glad @USPS listened to my call and stopped the removal of mail collection boxes across Montana, which would potentially cut off Montanans’ access to critical postal services. But it’s not over—Postmaster DeJoy still owes us answers on why they were removed in the first place.

Happy Saturday, folks. Woke up today ready to fight for veterans and their families. Talking to my colleagues and won’t stop until we get the PACT Act signed into law.

This country sends folks off to war and puts it on the credit card, only to make excuses to cut their benefits when they come back. That's bull, and I won't stand by and let it happen.

The Senate is voting again today on the Respect for Marriage Act, and my vote hasn't changed. No politician or activist judge should be telling Montanans who they can love and marry.

THE PACT ACT IS PASSED! We're finally getting the job done and delivering America's veterans their hard-earned care and benefits. They held up their end of the bargain, and I'm damn proud we're holding up ours. Next stop: The President's desk for his signature.

I had the chance to meet with Judge Jackson yesterday. As we talked, she demonstrated a deep commitment to the rule of law, to defending Montanans' constitutional rights, and to impartiality. Her qualifications are plain as day, and I look forward to voting for her confirmation.

I oversee the two largest shares of the federal budget: defense and veterans' affairs. I can tell you that the budget passed by House Republicans would cut veterans' support, cause uncertainty for our armed forces, and make us a weaker country. Full stop.
