- My Republican colleagues need to listen to veterans. We must pass the Major Richard Star Act to ensure combat-injured veterans receive the benefits they have rightfully earned & deserve—a measure that Senate Republicans have blocked 6 times now.
- Strategic voter suppression—that’s the blatant purpose & effect of the U.S. Postal Service’s new proposed rule—to compile voter lists & deny mail in ballots to anyone it deems ineligible. Such screening of voter lists would be clearly unconstitutional & reprehensible.
- The UFC "Claw" constructed on the south lawn for Trump’s Sunday night fight is a masterclass in marketing & corruption. Sponsor ads line every side, with these payments & others largely undisclosed as to who really benefits & how much. I am looking into it through PSI.

New HHS OIG reports confirm what my Subcommittee found in 2024: the largest Medicare Advantage insurers use prior authorization to deny necessary care.
