Something that many don't realize, Texas has it's own music. As I write this, I'm listening to Josh Abbott band, of my longtime favorites.
In fact, we really have two: Texas music (or Texas country) and Tejano. I don't know a lot of Tejano (not quite my scene) but Texas music
