Too many kids and parents filled with this D1 or bust mentality. I went D2, played in front of 3,000 fans, had success, chances to play professionally overseas and most importantly got my schooling and degree completely paid for. Athletes understand D2/NAIA/D3/JuCo is elite!- AAU Directors & Coaches stop putting an emphasis on just D1 offers! Anytime a kid can get his schooling paid for & continue to play the game he loves it should be celebrated. At ANY level! Celebrate the D2-NAIA offers just as much as the D1. College ball at any level is special!

- In 2007-2008 I had 4 Division 1 offers, 20+ D2 offers & 50+ D3/NAIA offers. My final 4 schools included one D1, two D2’s and one NAIA school. Players stop worrying about level and start worrying about fit! Went D2, free schooling, played in 3 NCAA Tournaments, broke records. FIT!
- I was fortunate enough to play in 3 state championship games in high school & 3 NCAA D2 national tournaments in college because I was surrounded by “winners”, good players & great teammates. Players read this quote as you get ready for Jan/Feb. Buy in, have fun, play hard. WE>me!
