I am a mom from Covenant. You said “it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the 2nd Amendment”. Were my son’s classmates, headmaster, teachers, and custodian worth it? How dare you post their faces after spitting in them.

Turns out the transgender female who murdered 6 in Nashville planned her hate crime FOR MONTHS. And while Joe Biden found time in the past week to remind us that trans people "shape our nation’s soul" he's yet to offer a single word of solace to Christians. Disgraceful.

My 5yr old was extremely emotional after school & not himself, I knew something was on his mind. At bedtime he brought me the “Whatif Monster” book to read. After he looked at me & his dad & asked with so much pain and fear in his eyes “What if I don’t come back from school?” 1/

I’m sobbing. I’m so mad. My 5 yr old goes to Covenant. Why can’t we have sensible laws & the 2A? I don’t have the money to compete with the NRAs funding but I have enough love to fight like hell for my son, TCS staff, and MNPD to never experience this nightmare again

I bought this book several years ago as a way to talk about being scared to ride a bike, to have a new teacher, all the “normal” things. Those normal childhood worries I could so easily soothe have been replaced w/ horrific fears that no book can adequately prepare you for. 2/

As a medical professional I can assure you no tourniquet is going to be sufficient to stop bleeding from a child annihilated by an AR15.

Instead of passing strong gun laws, Texas lawmakers want to train 3rd-graders to use tourniquets, specifically citing the need for children to help treat shooting victims. We don’t have to live like this. Our children sure as hell shouldn’t die like this. khou.com/article/news/e…

As a Christian let me be clear, this has nothing to do w/ gender/trans views/whatever other garbage excuses ppl want to come up with. This person was extremely mentally ill and able to legally buy multiple high capacity magazine guns. Ppl want any excuse to deflect from the guns

We’ve got about 120 kids at The Covenant School that no longer get to be kids either. Regressing terribly, looking for safe places to hide wherever they go, waking in nightmares, having panic attacks when they aren’t even old enough to not be in car seats.

This Covenant mom is here to say we had intense safety measures and training in place. It wasn’t enough. Where is the open dialogue to lessen the risk of these shootings with gun safety? You can protect the 2A and provide basic safety regulations.

TN parents want more SROs in schools & routine active shooter drills— that is exactly what we’re doing. HB 322 sets the framework for every public school in TN to have an SRO. This is a huge first step for TN to ensure children & teachers ALWAYS feel safe in their classrooms.
