Look at this KICK to the finish! πŸ’₯ American Sara Hall chased down Ruth Chepngetich in the final stretch of the women's #LondonMarathon to pass her and finish 2nd. 2:22:01 is a new PR for the 37-year-old Hall

It’s taken a decade and a half to do the same thing I watched Ryan effortlessly do 15 years ago I hope whatever the thing is you know you’re called to build & create- even if it doesn’t make sense, even if others don’t understand- seeing this helps you believe you can do it too

This sport has broken my heart a hundred times. This pandemic year has been hard on all of us. But if you’re resilient. If you β€œforget what is behind and strain towards what’s ahead”— eventually, preparation will meet opportunity. ❀️

If you haven’t been convinced about systemic racism based on the last 400 years, I sure hope the events of today and how long these terrorists were allowed to disgrace this nation today makes it abundantly clear.

You only regret the shots you don’t take. Went out the fastest I ever have, wheels fell off, ended up 8th 2:22:56. No regrets, grateful for the opportunity to race in this beautiful country πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ γ‚γ‚ŠγŒγ¨ Thank you, Tokyo!

5th at the Olympic Trials marathon This one hurts more than any of the other 7, and yet I feel proud and have no regrets. Was in 3rd/could see 3rd the whole last lap as I battled through cramps. Never stopped believing, fought every step.

Boston, you were amazing! πŸ’™πŸ’› 2:25:48 17th 🀯 American Masters Record πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Really proud of that one! Fought every day to make it to the line and every mile out there. Kept believing even when everything went wrong this buildup. Ran my race with joy- had SO much fun out there!

The biggest mistake I’ve seen runners make in their careers is trying to morph their bodies into how they see another (more successful) person’s rather than finding the best version of lean and strong for themselves. Leaner isn’t always faster & comparison is never productive
