The game is literally stopped for 30 seconds, dude. You will manage.

The two brothers obviously deserve to go to prison for a long time, but there is evidently rampant Islamaphobia underpinning most of the comments here. The brothers are undoubtedly despicable individuals, but their religion and ethnicity had nothing to do with their actions.

How many workers have died this week in pursuit of delivering "the best World Cup ever"?.

This is why Twitter can be a very dangerous place. You have posted demonstrably false information, and a lot of people will believe it. O.J. brutalised Nicole for years. He was enraged that she finally had the courage to leave him, and that is why he killed her.

I agree entirely; Pele is sometimes lost in the debate on social media but the guy essentially modernised the game.

He missed most of those games through injury so it is a misleading stat. 71 international goals in like 104 games. By any yardstick, that is outstanding.

She should be allowed to return to the UK; as a child, she made a horrific decision to fly to Syria. She can be returned to the UK and face the consequences of her actions. The hostility towards her is rooted in racism and Islamaphobia. She made a despicable mistake as a child.

That was ostensibly about Christianity but maybe the conquest of the Americas by the Spanish is a better comparison.

The BT Sport coverage was insufferable; McManaman's banalities, Rio's clowning, that commentator dude who screams in excitement every 90 seconds, Lescott being anointed 'legendary' City status just because he was part of the BT Sport team. It was awful.

That is very true. Our 16 year old miniature Jack Russell passed on last December. She had a great life, but she was so tired in the final couple of months. She wanted to move on.💖

I work in education and we recently had a training seminar on child protection. We covered sexual harm and peer on peer violence. The trainer conveyed that the misogynistic coverage of the trial and the subsequent verdict has had an adverse impact on male learners.

De Niro deserves Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Killers of the Flower Moon. Downey Jnr is terrific in Oppenheimer, but De Niro gave the superior and more nuanced performance. KOTF is incredibly long; I started watching it last night! But, it is a masterpiece.

I also felt that it would have been a little more subtle (and meaningful) if it had not been shown who Alfred was looking at.

Howard Gayle, the first Black footballer to play for Liverpool, also turned down an MBE five or so years ago as he rightly deduced that monarchy, empire, and slavery were inextricably linked.
