Peckham high road is now completely blocked by people resisting the Bibby Stockholm removal as well as blocking the arrests made by police. There are many many more of us than the police. They’re not going anywhere. Come and join us and we can stop them together.

Update: A large crowd is surrounding the coach in Peckham, which has been immobilised. But they might try to remove people with a different coach later today or even tomorrow, so even if you can’t come now, come join later.

The Home Office coach in Peckham is not going anywhere right now. A tyre has deflated itself (roads these days huh) & lime bikes have appeared underneath. But we need to maintain a presence throughout the day to stop any attempt later. If you can come later, please join ❤️

He’s just been released! And he’s back in his house. Fucking hell. People really turned up. It was touch and go earlier, when there were only a few people. But people came in enough numbers. They will be back, here and elsewhere. Spread the word, show up and stop them again

Yesterday in Peckham was an incredible resistance. We stopped the Home Office coach taking anyone to the prison barge - and also from taking anyone else at other locations in London. Then we blocked the police for hours and let them know they will not take any one of us easily.

UPDATE: Police and HO security saying Peckham coach to Bibby Stockholm has been cancelled - but they won’t provide any proof. We've also seen today's schedule which has 3 more stops so we're holding the coach until we get confirmation so they don't pick anyone up COME JOIN US

We did two anti-raids outreach sessions this weekend, one in Streatham on Saturday morning and one in Peckham on Sunday. In Streatham Hill, Brazilian, Somali, Pashtun & Algerian shop owners welcomed what we're doing, took stacks of leaflets or posted them in their shops.
