We condemn any form of criminal activity and obstruction of the free movement of South Africans. Such actions are criminal and must face the full force of the law. We have notified the leadership of the Mamelodi Taxi Association, and disciplinary action has been initiated.

The taxi industry gives the manufacturing industry at least 7 billion a year in taxi sales buying at least 1000 a month VAT inclusive. This VAT % goes to government every year.
