Yesterday, I joined advocates calling for Salah Sarsour’s release, and visited him in detention. Like too many others in ICE custody, he isn’t receiving proper medical treatment. I’ll keep pressing for his release, so that he can return home to our community & be reunited with

Billions of dollars for wars, golden ballrooms, and enrichment schemes for the Trump family…. But no money for health care. Republicans don’t care if you have to go without health coverage as long as their billionaire donor class is doing well.

A little known fact about the Republicans’ Big Ugly Bill is that it creates a national voucher program. Their voucher scheme helps funnel taxpayer dollars into private schools, including religious schools, which lack accountability, transparency, and civil rights protections.
