- If you consider yourself a serious collector in the space, there's no better time to stand up, support, and champion artists you believe in. There are a lot of artists struggling. Some have shared it publicly, and others are struggling in silence. Every bit of effort on your end
- When you purchase a piece from an artist, you breathe life into their world. You're fueling their aspirations and propelling their dreams. Don't ever undermine how profound and meaningful that decision can be.
- Let's normalize artists not having to worry about selling out within 24 hours of a release. Sometimes, a specific piece or collection takes longer to resonate with the right collector. And that is okay!
- I am an artist, and I am having difficulty connecting with my followers on social media because the algorithm sucks, and my posts don't get much traction. As a result, my sales have slowed down a ton. What advice would you give me? 🤔
- Not sure who needs to hear this, but it is completely okay for artists to mint works just for the sake of utilizing the blockchain as a time stamp. Not everything minted needs to be listed for sale immediately.
- Note to artists: Don't get down on yourself if your work doesn't sell out immediately. You are not a failure, nor does it make the release a failure. Pace yourself and continue promoting it. It will eventually find its way into the hands of the right collectors.
- Some folks are wowed when a notable collector collects a high-priced piece from a notable artist. But I am more impressed when a notable collector collects a piece from a lesser-known artist, that I didn't know of. That doesn't happen too often.
- gm! To those who believe they are "under the radar" or "don't feel valued enough," I say, be so good they can't ignore you! Because they can only ignore you for so long before someone starts taking notice. It takes patience and persistence though.
- Support artists who support other artist 🤝
- You know what one trend I'd like to see change in this space? People championing emerging artists while they are "hot" and then completely ignoring them once their market cools off and then move on to the next artist.
