“Privacy is for criminals” is a psyop Privacy is the best first line of defense you can have to protect yourself from criminals. An exposed target is an easy target. Politicians just want to get rid of privacy so they can rob you themselves.

it's pretty sick but tbh it was bound to happen once we have a micropayment system for bitcoin that just works. in the bitcoin space, we're very focussed on the user-facing wallet use case. machines paying machines is a wholly different (and very big) pie though.
