A (mostly) classy week between the two best student sections in the county and - I don't care what anyone says - the best rivalry in the area
- Wiregrass 17, Lake Nona 10 - Final The Bulls win their first playoff game in school history. Congratulations to Coach Kantor and the Bulls.
- In two weeks, most teams season and players high school football careers will come to an end. Make the most of this time, which means to continue to give 100% effort in every practice and your last two games. Remember, the most memorable moments can come when you least expect it.

- Congratulations to Rutgers ATH Janarion Grant for signing with the Baltimore Ravens. Grant was a 4-year starter for the Pasco Pirates and holds the county record for most TD's (77) in a career. Also, selected to the All-State Team in 2011 and 2012.
- Auburn defeated Alabama and Georgia who are in the playoffs. Undefeated UCF defeated Auburn, but they’re not in the playoffs. The Knights proved it on the football field they earned an opportunity to play in the playoffs. The NCAA got it wrong this year. UCF PERFECT SEASON!!!
- How about them MITCHELL MUSTANGS! And yes, they're from PASCO COUNTY...
- Mitchell Mustangs finish the season at 11-1. The Mustangs had their first perfect regular season, won third straight district title, fourth straight playoff appearance, and will be remembered as one the Top 15 Teams ever in Pasco County.
- Mitchell Mustangs are 9-0 for the first time in school history.
- There are football teams and there are football programs. Anyone can join a team, but when everyone believes and buys into the program, you'll have your greatest success.
