Damar Hamlin genuinely is what people are saying of him. A good person, a role model to the community and someone who always understood the significance of his stature. Local kids looked up to him when he was at Pitt, and he embraced that.

The fact that Beanie Bishop - a professional football player who spent 1 year at WVU - stomped on the Pitt logo is part of what makes college sports great. And the fact that Pitt fans and players are getting irate about it is, too.

This seems like big news for the local concert scene. 15,000 seats plus more on the grass could mean a venue to get some of the shows that would typically go to Star Lake.
