I wonder if along with the nicotine, the breathing ritual of smoking may have helped. I would inhale slowly, hold it a bit and exhale the smoke slowly; and the distraction of holding and moving the cigarette - the physical ritual itself seemed to help a lot.

I don't understand what is happening. That's a common phrase, and she is frightened to even say she was born and raised in her home town? She can't say that she is devoted and invested in the town of her birth? Governments in the British Isles have truly gone mad.

I don't think I fully grasped just how ruthless the class divide is in the UK until I saw this video and read so many demeaning comments about the girls when it was clear that no one had all the info. I now understand how the grooming gang scandal metastasized.

My 13 yr old daughter was in Macy's in NYC with her dad. She entered the women's bathroom to find a man, not attempting to look stereotypically like a woman, just self-id-ing into the women's room. She was shaken, too, and grateful for the women there.

I can no longer drive at night on busy roads without street lights. I’ve always been sensitive to bright light, but I used to be able to drive at night before the LEDs. How are these lights safe?

Why do so many believe this was deliberate? What are the odds one of the helicopter pilots calculated the rate, distance, etc… to collide with the plane? Slim to none.

If you grow up in the Northeast, you don’t have a good sense of how vast the West is. And Unless you’ve crossed the US by car, bus or train, it’s hard to conceive of how enormous our country is. You just can’t compare the logistics or the culture(s) to Europe at all.
