JRU players dancing after the John Amores assault. Celebrating after opposing players got injured. Disgusting / embarrassing behavior.

Kobe Paras, as expected, also skips this year's draft and will play another season for UP.

JRU’s John Amores should be banned for life from any Philippine basketball league. Attempted to attack a fan then proceeded to attack the whole CSB team, punching out three Benilde players. This hooligan doesn’t deserve any more chances, enough is enough. @NoliEala

A good point was raised: if John Amores has a pending criminal case, why was he allowed to play in this NCAA season?

Yuki Kawamura getting signed by the Memphis Grizzlies to an Exhibit-10 contract (& possibly a 2-way deal) could be big for Japanese basketball. Even at 5’8, this dude is legit. Electrifying shooter & a superb playmaker. Dropped an amazing 29-pt, 7-reb, 6-ast game against France.

This wasn’t even close to being a foul. The refs unquestionably robbed Japan of a potentially monumental upset win. They even unfairly kicked out Hachimura earlier in the game. One of the worst calls in #Olympics basketball history. Disgustingly embarrassing and shameful.

On the verge of a humongous upset against Japan, did the refs influence the end of regulation in favor of France?

Wait for UST's bounce back next season. Ateneo, UP, FEU, DLSU will all be weaker with star players either graduating or leaving. Nonoy, Abando, Chabi Yo, Cansino, Concepcion will all be better. They'll be more adept in Ayo's system. I reckon they'll be title favorites.
