Roger Penrose is 93 today (not an interesting number, he says), but where in spacetime does he go to get away? A short walk from @OxUniMaths are the Trap Grounds, 10 acres of wetland, woodland & grassland where you sit & forget about black holes & twistors etc. Or you don't.

When Roger Penrose goes for a walk you might expect him to be thinking about cosmology etc. But he isn't. At least not always. Sometimes he is thinking about the walk itself. And the mathematics of it. Because Roger has his obsessions. Like lots of us.
