Yesterday, Motorcycle Ohio presented two “Saved by the Helmet” awards before the Chillicothe Paints game. The award is given to riders who survive serious crashes while wearing a helmet. Awards were presented to Ariel King, of Williamsburg and Donald Mallernee, of Bowerston.
Last week, Capt. Hayslip (left), S/Lt. Schmenk (second from right) and Disp. Sup. Lovejoy (right) presented a certificate of recognition to Dispatcher Kirk, Lebanon Post, for her hard work and determination, leading to the recovery of two stolen vehicles in December.
Last week, our troopers took part in the Adoption for a Day event, hosted by the Athens County Dog Shelter and the @fosd. We really enjoyed spending time with our Adopted for a Day dog Smidge, who is looking for a "fur-ever" home.
