While this is good news, my advice to voters has not changed: don’t wait. Vote early and use an official drop box. If you have to return your ballot by mail, do it at least a week before Election Day, especially if you live 50+ miles from Portland. More: bit.ly/4favEYm

Here in Oregon, we have a robust citizen initiative petition process, where everyday Oregonians can join together to make laws directly through the ballot. My job is to make sure Oregonians have equal access to this process & that everyone is treated fairly and follows the rules.

Today’s Supreme Court decision in Watson v. RNC is a win for Oregon voters. The ruling today means that legally cast ballots that arrive within 7 days of the election will still be counted and those voices will still be heard. More: bit.ly/4vCbJY9
