    Introducingโ€ฆ the Peebles Hoard ๐Ÿฅ โœจ Itโ€™s a spectacular collection of bronze, leather and wooden material dating to the Late Bronze Age (c.1000-800 BCE). Many of these objects have never been found before in Scotland. So, as you can imagine, weโ€™re *pretty* excited
    An assemblage of twelve bronze objects from the Peebles Hoard, including some rounded fittings with concentric circle designs and a rattle pendant.

    Weโ€™re pleased to announce that National Museums Scotland will be transferring the House of Ni'isjoohl Memorial Pole to the Nisgaโ€™a Nation. A Nisgaโ€™a delegation visited us in August to see the Pole and to make a formal request for its return.
    Sim'oogit Ni'isjoohl (Mr Earl Stephens) and Sigidimnakโ€™ Nox Ts'aawit (Dr Amy Parent) of Nisga'a Nation with the memorial pole.

    You wouldnโ€™t know looking at this dress now that its construction hides many stories. Itโ€™s believed the dress was originally worn at the Jacobite ball of 1745 held in Holyrood & would have fitted a modern UK size 6. Some time later it was altered to fit a modern size 16-18. (1/2)
