Congratulations to Kenmore West’s Zac Boyes and Grand Island’s Lydia Sweeney. They were selected as the NIagara PAL Male and Female Prep Athletes of the Year at the annual PAL Sports Award Dinner this evening.
Congratulations to Lewiston Porter High School on earning the NYSPHSAA School of Distinction Award. Only 30 schools in the state earned this award by having 100% of their varsity teams qualify and receive the Scholar Athlete Team Award during the year.
A special event this evening at Lewiston-Porter, as Coach Jim Walker received his plaque for his induction into the New York State Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame with many family and friends in attendance. Congratulations to Coach Walker on this well earned recognition.
