    It is illegal to take any unfavorable action – including termination – against employees for union-related activities under the National Labor Relations Act. New York is a proud union state. We say no way, no how to intimidation, threats and union busting.

    Should flag it for @NYSDOLCommish @NYSLabor. State's very serious about moscategorization b/c freelancers do not pay into state Workers Comp fund.

    Tucker Carlson is currently attacking corporate diversity policies for "awarding this country's spoils on the basis of skin color rather than merit." Then goes on to call diversity policies "illegal" and "racial discrimination"

    Last night, an update to our system inadvertently caused a delay in the release of $600 FPUC payments. UI & PUA payments were not impacted. We have corrected the issue & FPUC payments will be processed tonight. You‘ll receive your money this week. Thank you for your patience.

    NEW: Governor Cuomo has announced that New Yorkers will begin receiving extended federal unemployment benefits next week. Thanks to proactive preparation, we will deliver extended PUA and PEUC benefits & $300 FPUC payments without delay. on.ny.gov/37V21YA

    NEW: $300 Lost Wages Assistance (LWA) payments will begin next week. Roughly 2 million New Yorkers are pre-qualified for the program & will receive payment next week. Another 435,000 individuals must submit an additional certification to qualify. Thread with important details⬇️

    As the American Rescue Plan extension kicks in this week, some claimants may see a 1-2 day delay in their $300 FPUC payments. FPUC payments will be paid this week to those who certified on Sunday. No delays are anticipated for claimants who certify on Monday or later.
