NYS spent $452M to purchase medical equipment during the #covidpandemic to save lives, including ventilators, oxygen tanks & pulse oximeters. My new audit found out of the 247K+ items purchased, only 3 were distributed.

These allegations are extremely disturbing and are impairing Governor Cuomo’s ability to lead, as our state struggles through a crisis and must make critical budget decisions. It is time for him to step down.

New York generates revenue for the federal government, giving back more than we get every year. Without federal relief right now, New York and states across America will suffer.

State tax collections for April 2023 totaled just over $10.9B – $7.2B, or 39.9%, lower than a year ago.

It’s important to protect our pension fund investments from the risk of climate change. That’s why I’ve set a net zero carbon emissions target for the fund by 2040 & accelerated our review of energy sector companies’ readiness... nyscomp.org/2JEUVy9

I echo the urgency of @NYGovCuomo and @NYCMayor: Along with direct payments to struggling Americans, any relief package agreed upon in Washington must include aid to states and local governments. Drastic cuts in services are around the corner without it.

New York stands with Israel, our friend and ally, as it defends itself against enemies that have taken advantage of regional tensions to launch an attack that puts families on both sides in the crossfire.

I stand with @NewYorkStateAG. We cannot allow the justice dept. to become a tool for political retribution and intimidation. Tish James is a known fighter for New Yorkers, and I have full faith that she will once again win in court.

The state should provide the families who lost loved ones with answers as to the actual number of nursing homes residents who died. These families are still grieving, and they deserve no less.

The pandemic was devastating and deadly for New Yorkers in nursing homes. Our audit findings are troubling and demonstrate missed opportunities to protect nursing home residents. nyscomp.org/3CNhojm

.@ScottforFlorida either needs a calculator or a sharper pencil. He gets a number of things wrong in attacking @NYGovCuomo. Our state’s pension fund is regularly ranked as one of nation’s best funded, significantly more than Florida’s fund. 1/2

My latest audit found yet again a failure to oversee + hold accountable a homeless services provider. Expenses charged to NYC with no explanation, unapproved bonuses to employees and unconscionable food waste. This must stop.

The @NewYorkStateAG should get an official referral, including subpoena power, to ensure a thorough and independent investigation.

The allegations against the Governor are very serious. They merit a credible, independent and expeditious investigation.
