Today is the 13 year anniversary of the lightning strike that started the Carpenter One Fire in the Spring Mountains. Carpenter One was the largest fire to occur on Mt. Charleston in decades, burning 28,000 acres, and was extinguished on August 18, 2013.

The June Review is in! This past June was the 7th warmest June on record, with an average temperature of 91.1°F. We got close to 110°F a few times but fell short, making this the first June since June 2022 that we've stayed below 110°F. #VegasWeather #NVwx
