Heavy rain at NWS Chanhassen is starting to diminish. The storms are moving along enough so any one location should get 30 or so minutes of heavy rain b4 it tapers to lighter rain. Ponding is likely at some intersections, some underpasses, & construction areas.
We have been notified that a funnel cloud was observed SW of Waconia. We are monitoring this storm closely but luckily appears quite high off of the ground. We can also see the storm from our office and it doesn't look like the funnel is still there. #mnwx#wiwx
