    Dry and seasonable conditions continue through Wednesday afternoon, followed by scattered storms moving across the area Wednesday night. Shower and storm chances continue into Friday, though the details are still a bit uncertain at this time. #kswx

    There are a couple of chances for rain this week, late Wednesday night into early Thursday and again Thursday evening into Friday. Expect mostly sunny skies until then with seasonable conditions as highs reach the 80s and 90s. #kswx

    After this morning's fog clears out, the rest of the week will be a fairly typical one for early July. Afternoon temperatures climb into the upper 80s and low 90s, with the best chances for rain coming later Wednesday and Thursday. #kswx

    For those still out enjoying 4th of July festivities, we're beginning to see poor visibility develop across eastern KS due to a combination of fog and smoke. Areas of dense fog will become more widespread through sunrise, so use caution if driving! #kswx

    A special weather statement has been issued for Westphalia KS, Welda KS and Aliceville KS until 10:30 PM CDT

    Scattered storms will remain possible (40-70% chance) into this evening south of I-70 (lower chances north). A few strong to severe storms will remain possible. However, many locations will likely be dry with temperatures in the 70s for evening firework displays. #kswx
