A line of showers and thunderstorms will move across portions of northeast IL through midnight. While there will is a 15-20% for another period of showers between midnight and 2 AM, most areas will remain dry. No severe weather is expected! #ILwx #INwx

The threat for severe weather should remain confined in central Illinois and Indiana through the remainder of the evening. With that said, there is a low chance (20% or so) for a thunderstorm north of I-80 generally between 8 and 10 PM this evening. #ILwx #INwx

Similar to the threat of significant severe weather trending south, the potential for flash flooding is also focusing south of I-80. Farther north the flash flooding threat may end up more localized compared to earlier concerns but still worth monitoring. #ILwx #INwx
