The United States is lost. Worse, it is turning against the democracies. For how long, I do not know. But today, the democracies in Europe and elsewhere must face this fact. They must abandon any illusion that it will come to its senses. Our task is immense, but we cannot fail.

19 years ago, on October 7, 2006, Anna Politkovskaya was murdered by Putin's hitmen. She was the first to tell the truth about Russia's mass crimes in Chechnya, which foreshadowed those in Syria, Ukraine, & elsewhere. They could have been prevented. Almost no one listened to her.

The Allies must give #Ukraine all the means (notably long-range missiles) to strike the Russian naval base at #Sevastopol in occupied Crimea. This is where the missiles that hit #Odessa originated. Any 🇷🇺 military center is not only a legitimate target, but also a necessary one.

Superb. After elections rigged by the pro-Kremlin Vucic, the Serbian people take to the streets en masse to demand freedom, rule of law, end to corruption and a European future. No, it's not Western manipulation, as Vucic & Moscow proclaim, just a taste for freedom. Like Maidan.
