As part of #NeighbourhoodPolicingWeek, our Chair addressed a conference & contributed to a panel discussion on the importance of neighbourhood policing & collaborative working, particularly in tackling & responding to violence against women & girls /race hate crime.

Our Vice Chair was delighted to attend the Special Olympics opening ceremony in Dublin & handover of the Law Enforcement Torch Flame of Hope by DCC Singleton & AC Hilman. Thanks to all the officers in PSNI & AGS who have supported the run & raised funds.
Good to meet with District Commander McManus & the officers/staff in Causeway Coast & Glens. Our Vice Chair also met with PCSP Members & tried out the simulator road safety car funded by the PCSP to provide young people with a first hand experience of being in a collision.
Committee updates today on the PSNI’s Digital Strategy, latest resourcing outlook & a report against Policing Plan Indicator 3.3 specifically focusing on workplace culture, inclusion and equality.
Staff (including our marathoners!) were delighted to be able to present our fundraising efforts to the incredible team at @AirAmbulanceNI and thank them for their work to save lives across NI.
