Baker Mayfield has more career commercials than he has career wins.

Why does everyone keep saying they can't remember a rookie quarterback playing this well and having his team in contention in reference to Mac Jones? It was only 2016 when Dak Prescott was a rookie, and the Cowboys went 13-3. That's 13-3. Did I mention he went 13-3 as a rookie?

Dez Bryant just stuck his head in Mike McCarthy’s news conference and yelled, “You know I caught that in Green Bay, coach.”

I agree the Chiefs have played better, but let's tap the brakes a little considering they played the Packers without Aaron Rodgers, barely won and got the Cowboys without Amari Cooper, Tyron Smith, DeMarcus Lawrence, Randy Gregory and a half without CeeDee Lamb.

A coach making $11.5 million a year complaining about players getting paid. That's rich.

Stupidity is necessary to be a politician. Minute Maid is and was Houston's largest cooling station. Astros sold $5 tickets and $1 hot dogs, and fans got a few hours to cool off. The priority should be getting the power back on to the 1 million who don't yet have it.

Houston's mayor lobs a grenade at the Astros for playing Tuesday: “George Brown doesn't have energy yesterday ... but we got a ball game going on down the street two blocks,” Whitmire said. “We got to get our priorities right, folks.” houstonchronicle.com/news/houston-w…

Pay Dak Prescott. Whatever he wants, give it to him.

There are 18 first-team all-decade receivers in history. 17 have a place in Canton. Drew Pearson is the only one missing.

Truly a sad day. Drew Pearson in now the only member of the NFL 1970’s All Decade 1st Team not in. The only player NOT in. #Cowboys @NBCDFWSports

Love the Landry Shift. A great tribute to those great Cowboys teams of yesteryear.

On Georgia Tech’s off week, Haynes King was at Kyle Field. He still has a special place in his heart for A&M, and I think Aggies still feel the same way about him. He just had bad injury luck at A&M.

It’s so hard to not cheer for Haynes. I’m so glad he found the success he did at Georgia Tech!

Joe Burrow received 28 votes to 21 for Dak Prescott. Chargers S Derwin James received the other vote. Dak received my vote because he had more TDs (37 to 34) than Burrow, fewer INTs (10 to 14) than Burrow and more wins (11 to 10) than Burrow for the league's No. 1 offense.

The Texans have turned into one of the worst organizations in football since Bob McNair died. @amypalcic was the best. She certainly was too good for what the Texans deserve.

Texans fired VP of Communications Amy Palcic, telling her she no longer was "a cultural fit", per sources. Palcic was the first and only woman to have full PR responsibilities for an NFL team. She was the winner of the 2017 Rozelle Award for best PR staff. She is widely respected

Last three Browns wins were started by three different Texas high school quarterbacks who won the Heisman Trophy. Johnny, RGIII and Baker.
