State bars have harassed, financially ruined, and destroyed the careers of Republican lawyers for zealously advocating for their clients within the bounds of the law. Perhaps its time for the Justice Department to probe the National Lawyers Guild.

My WI Uber driver this morning is a retired union organizer. Voted Dem every cycle except Reagan but staying home this time. After 15 min, he said he hasn’t decided but thinking about voting Trump. I gave him my # and said call if he’s wavering. Channeling my inner @ScottPresler!

I visited the Smithsonian Museum of American History in Jan 2024 and the wing devoted to the American presidency had exhibits on Biden, Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Reagan, etc. The only mention of Trump was in the impeachment section. But go on about a leader’s view of history.

I bought one first class ticket for myself (that I gave to my wife) and one basic economy ticket for her (that I sat in) last year to get to the next United status tier. This year she vetoed adding a layover to get an extra segment.

A city council election in Honolulu was thrown out by the Hawaii Supreme Court a few years ago because the absentee ballots were collected past the statutory cut-off time. They redid the election and the other guy won.
