- It’s #TraditionTuesday! Today we take a look at the Matriculation Book. A longstanding tradition, signing the Matriculation Book has been a ceremonial rite of passage for Muhlenberg freshmen since 1885.
- Over time, the Pajama Parade became a pep event for Homecoming and was preceded by an enormous bonfire.The parade was suspended in 1957 with the advent of female students, but resumed in the 1970s. The last one seems to have been held in 1981.
- This #TraditionTuesday we are revisiting the Pajama Parade, a beloved bygone Muhlenberg Tradition. Begun as the “Freshman Parade '' in the late 19th c., it was initially held on Halloween when the freshmen would dress in pajamas and partake in the Allentown Halloween parade.
- On behalf of the @muhlenbergpsych, we'd like to welcome this year's Rosenberg Speaker, Dr. Ryan Lei He'll examine the concept of "intersectional invisibility," the idea that often, Black women get further marginalized in a cultural context, even compared to Black men.
