- Think the McLaughlin/Small incident is straightforward. Lining a vulnerable fellah up for a big shoulder is a great part of the game, but if you plough in with that kind of force and make contact with the head it’s 100% on you and a red card. Too dangerous otherwise
- A lucky escape on the motorbike tonight. Slowing for red lights. Van behind me - I’m convinced on his phone - straight into the back of me. Bike has been taken away. I’m fine. Put the bloody phones away - there’s lots of time on the loo for scrolling.
- The Farrell Family dynamics are quite something. Andy brings the grandsons, Tommy & Freddie, to Ireland training today. Owen didn't realise until media told him. He laughed that Andy keeps buying them IRE jerseys. And they're all staying at Andy's house. Beautiful. And bonkers.
- A fair chance Jarlath Burns ends up President of Ireland at this rate, what an impressive man
