You cannot receive confirmation in a state of mortal sin because you cannot receive grace in a state of unrepetant mortal sin. His lifestyle demonstrates a lack of repentance.
It is a mockery of the Sacrament. Blasphemy.

Confirmation is a Sacrament meant for all as a way to strenghten our faith. I don't see why being gay means that you can't recieve His Holy Grace.
