We lost a dear member of our family. Artis left a lasting impression on his teammates and coaches. Special would not begin to describe what type of person he was. Defined what it means to be a “Merrimack Guy.” Our thoughts and prayers are with the Holt family.
St. Thomas and Merrimack are a combined 17-3, both undefeated in conference with 1 week to play. Neither is eligible for the FCS Playoff because of a misguided NCAA rule that blocks teams moving *up* a division from the Playoff.
