Great to turn the sod on the new walkway at @redhughsgaa Club. The Killygordon club was allocated €200,000 under the Community Sports Facilities Fund for a walking track & floodlighting development in the 2024 funding announcement. Wishing the club every success with the project

Fianna Fáil in Government is delivering a record €33 million in core funding for sport this year. Minister of State with responsibility for Sport Charlie McConalogue says this funding will support 57 National Governing Bodies and 29 Local Sports Partnerships.

Delighted to join @connachtrugby Rugby in Galway to officially open Dexcom Stadium. Connacht Rugby received €20 million in state funding under the Large Scale Sport Infrastructure Fund (LSSIF) - the largest capital investment to date in LSSIF - for the project.

Delighted to announce a record investment of €33.36 million in Core Funding support to sporting organisations through @sportireland for 2026. This includes €19.5 million for 57 National Governing Bodies of Sport and €12.66 million for 29 Local Sports Partnerships.
