On a green gradient background with the Attorney General Office seal the following language appears in black, "As of today, the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office will no longer be posting on X. From a rise in unmoderated online hate to the exploitation of children through its AI bot, X has decided to put profits over people and its role in facilitating productive public discourse. You can still follow the AGO online on Instagram, Facebook, Bluesky, Threads, and Youtube. We hope to keep the conversation going. Massachusetts Attorney General, Andrea Joy Campbell"

BREAKING: We just won an order to stop Elon Musk and DOGE from accessing your personal, private data while we continue fighting them in court. This is why we fight — no one is above the law.

BREAKING: We just won a nationwide preliminary injunction from the court to force Trump to restore NIH funding in both blue AND red states while we move forward with our lawsuit.   We won't let this administration play politics with public health.

I’m disappointed that a select group of Milton residents chose to be part of the problem rather than the solution to our housing affordability crisis. My office has made it clear that compliance with the law is mandatory. (1/2)

The housing crisis is going to take all of us to solve, which is why we filed a suit today against Milton. The MBTA Communities Law was enacted to address our region-wide need for housing, and compliance with it is mandatory. My Office will not hesitate to enforce the law.
    We're Suing

Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell filed a lawsuit today against the Town of Milton for failure to comply with the MBTA Communities Law, which serves as an essential tool to create more multi-family housing and alleviate the housing affordability crisis

Let me be clear: Medication abortion will remain legal and accessible in Massachusetts - no right-wing, anti-science judge will change that.   I was proud to join my colleagues and advocates to reaffirm our commitment to protecting abortion access for every patient who needs it.

    Replying to @MassAGO
When a municipality elects to evade its responsibility to comply with the law, we will meet our responsibility to enforce the law. (2/2)

I want to be clear: gender affirming care remains available in Massachusetts for all who need it. My office and I will continue to enforce our state laws to ensure families can access it without fear of discrimination.
A statement from Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell on Trump's latest executive order attacking trans youth and their families. “Trump’s latest executive order is an attack on our trans youth and the families who love and support them. I want to be clear: gender affirming care remains available in Massachusetts for all who need it. My office and I will continue to enforce our state laws to ensure families can access it without fear of discrimination. This order cannot be implemented overnight. Gender affirming care is life saving, and I will use every tool at my disposal to fight efforts to restrict it.”

Uber and Lyft drivers in Massachusetts begin accruing paid sick leave - a basic benefit for workers - for the first time starting today. Remember: this is a result of my office taking these companies to court and holding them to account for exploiting drivers.
