Alison Uttley had this little verse in the book “Little Grey Rabbit Makes Lace”. Year after year I’ve recited it with my children and grandchildren. It’s become an annual ritual in the car. They all know it off by heart. vergettegardens.com/2013/07/31/que… She had a great store of folklore.

Loving the way @Jacob_Rees_Mogg very courteously and politely ran rings round the persistent and antagonistic interviewer just now on @BBCr4today . An object lesson in how to deal with the BBC, and, importantly, on how to inform the public and handle the uppity MSM.

The trouble is, Jacob, that Rishi Sunak stitched up and betrayed the best Prime Minister this country has had for a long time. The two web domains he set up speak volumes of ruthlessness. I like your gentlemanly attitude and haven’t yet cancelled my membership but I’m very sad.

What Hamas did, killing 1400 people so brutally on October 7th, was horrific. But now Israel has killed over 10,000 people, more than half of them children. When will enough be enough??
