I wonder how many really understand the bitter opposition by policymakers to Bitcoin and especially an ETF. Gary Gensler doesn't really hate it because of investor protection (that's only a minor reason). Elizabeth Warren doesn't actually think its criminal use is significant.

BTC up, legacy markets down. The importance of these divergences cannot be overstated. They flash bright red on the screens of every asset manager and trader and solidify BTC as a go-to macro asset on desks globally.

Lots of younger people/traders in BTC, so having seen every inauguration since the 1970s, I'll say this: No one should be surprised BTC wasn't mentioned. Not an appropriate topic for that speech, to say the least. There will be more than enough headlines about it in coming days
